We provide procurement opportunities for goods and services ranging from construction materials and construction services, common hardware, electrical, plumbing, cleaners and solvents, tools and shop supplies, to fuels and lubricants delivered to storage tanks or directly to locomotives at locations across the United States.

Our Procurement and Materials Management teams work to ensure that the corporation meets its operating performance standards, capital program objectives, and financial goals. They provide safe, dependable, effective vehicle management administration by implementing cost effective and efficient repair and replacement methodology and ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies and Amtrak standards and guidelines.

As a member of the Amtrak Procurement team, you will work hard to ensure policies, procedures, and acquisition strategies and long-term strategic contracts maximize procurement service levels. Your talent and expertise will be put to good use in the development and implementation of programs and accurate forecasts to ensure material availability relating to strategic inventories.
