OBS and Station Services Jobs

The Amtrak Onboard Services (OBS) and Station Services teams are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere of hospitality for Amtrak passengers that result in exceeding customer expectations. It is our mission to deliver intercity transportation with superior safety, customer service and financial excellence while ensuring compliance with various regulatory agencies, state and local officials and Amtrak standards and guidelines.

Depending on the role, you may be responsible for safe practices and meeting sanitation standards during all segments of service from loading, stocking, preparing, serving, clean-up, operating point of sale devices, and end of trip close outs which may include preparation of associated paperwork.

Our OBS and Station Services teams must also adhere to uniform and grooming standards. OBS Employees work varying schedules and may travel extensively to accommodate our 24 hours 7 days a week operation, which may include nights, weekends, holidays or on-call for emergency situations. Work may require travel and time away from home.
