The Material Control Clerk is responsible for the daily activities of maintaining inventory through our ERP System (SAP) – Receiving, Issuing and shipping

functions. The incumbent takes ownership of inventory accuracy within warehouse and field locations by performing monthly cycle counts and verifications.
•    Responsible for identifying and labeling materials. 
•    Responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse and supporting areas.
•    The position may be required to work outside in adverse weather conditions due to the nature of the business
•    Must be able to work Independently
•    Other duties as assigned.
•    Must have a valid driver’s license to pick up and deliver parts and supplies
•    Must be able to pass Forklift and Material Handling equipment testing
•    Must be able to pass Amtrak’s RWP training
•    Must be able to pass Hazmat CBT course
•    Must be able to learn and understand – Sales Force\PMMP Portal, Ariba, Concur systems
•    Must comply w/Amtrak's Standards of Excellence, safety rules, and all other policies and procedures
•    High School Diploma.
•    1-3 years in retail or warehouse exp.
•    Microsoft Word and Excel certification as you will be creating and maintaining reports
•    Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
