SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Provide all related station services at the Auto Train Terminal, as directed by the District Manager Stations or Lead Ticket Agent.
These duties to include but not limited to ticketing, reservations, passengers and automobile loading and unloading, greeting
passengers, validating tickets, providing verbal and written directions to passengers, check-in, vehicle inspection to confirm
acceptable clearance, making announcements and performing “Redcap” duties and other duties as assigned. Amtrak/TCU Auto Train
Agreement applies. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This person must have a thorough knowledge of all ticketing procedures. Must be familiar with Arrow and Stars.  Must be able to
work well under stressful situations; paying close attention to details and to accuracy of work. 

 

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: 
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

Sign-On Bonus 

 The employee is eligible to receive a sign-on bonus of $12,500, less applicable taxes and withholdings, payable to the employee in three (3) separate six (6) month installments to begin in the next regularly scheduled pay date 30 days after the employee's start date.

This Sign-on Bonus is not part of the employee’s base pay, is not included in salary calculations for retirement, and the bonus amount is stated in gross amounts and shall be subject to all applicable withholding taxes, other normal payroll deductions, and any other amounts required by law to be withheld.

 

Sign-On Bonus Terms & Conditions

  • For the employee to be eligible to receive subsequent payments, the employee must make all attempts to remain in the position title and location they were hired for and in good standing.
  • The employee understands that the Sign-on Bonus is forfeited if the employee fails to report to work.
  • The bonus is deemed fully earned after twenty-four (24) months of active employment. Should you leave the company, for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, before you have completed twenty-four (24) months of active employment from your start date of this position, you will be required to pay back your sign-on bonus.
  • The VP of Operations Customer Services will make the final determination on any and all contested issues of eligibility.
