POSITION SUMMARY:
Desire to work on station design projects from inception through construction.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Autocad, Microsoft Suite, Adobe suite, Microsoft project or Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to self-progress work as well as ask clarification questions when necessary.
  • Able to work a minimum of 15-hour per week (8am to 5pm)
  • Ability to travel (day trips and occasionally overnight)
  • Capable of expediting self as well as others to complete job functions.
  • Able to communicate orally, in writing, and graphically.
  • Able to utilize typical office, design, and surveying equipment.
  • Able to develop designs and details as well as present to project stakeholders.
  • Able to review materials and designs for compliance with criteira and advance through construction documents.
  • Awareness of architectural, engineering, and construction processes.
  • Able to process, review, comment, and close vendor submittals.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited educational institution.
  • Must be actively pursuing an undergraduate/graduate degree in architecture (b.arch, m.arch)
  • Must have at least 1 year of academic undergraduate studies completed or a sophomore status at minimum.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certification in AutoCad, Microsoft Suite, Primavera.
  • In intern development program
  • Knowledgable of Design and construction practices.
  • Active Intern Development Program or Engineer in Training.
  • Able to design, program, and maintain Microsoft Excel Database.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
