This position is responsible for providing our passengers with superior customer service from 
behind the ticket counter, baggage/express counter or on the station floor or platform. The 
ability to maintain a positive, good natured attitude is essential. Responsible for greeting, 
servicing and general comfort of each passenger. Representative must be comfortable with interacting 
with customers and using Amtrak computer systems.


• Representative must be available to attend Customer Service Training in either Wilmington, DE, 
  Chicago, IL or Los Angeles, CA. 
• Representative will be trained on every job in the station environment, Ticketing, Baggage, 
  Accounting, Station Agent, Baggage L and Redcap services. 
• Representative must be able to lift 50lbs. on a regular basis. 
• Must be willing to operate a forklift, baggage tugs and people movers. 
• Representative must be willing to perform janitorial work and other duties as assigned by the 
  Station Agent or District Manager. 
• Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
This is an on-call position and must be available to accept job assignments on a daily basis. 
This job is based out of the Seattle Station.


Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
