SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Director, HR Transformation is passionate about simplicity, technology, and operational excellence. This leader will create a HR Transformation team that is scalable, agile, and seamless to eliminate unnecessary complexity and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes while enhancing the employee experience. They will partner with IT on the evaluation of technologies to enable and support the future workforce while enhancing the employee experience. They will be responsible for project managing the implementation of key HR priorities with the EVP of HR, HR Leadership Team, IT, and other key stakeholders, in support of a multi-year roadmap and transformation strategy and building a roadmap of prioritized HR process improvement initiatives by evaluating current state and developing future vision.  

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • In collaboration with the HR team, drive a comprehensive review and mapping of existing HR processes and systems to create best practice solutions
  • Partner with IT on the evaluation of scalable technologies to build appropriate infrastructure for us to improve efficiency and simplification to support future growth while enhancing the employee experience
  • Create a cohesive digital experience that drives engagement and improves processes, so they are faster and more efficient
  • Monitor the external market and maintain knowledge of Talent-focused digital solutions, trends, and predictions to influence the HR technology and process strategy. 
  • Utilize expert project/program management skills to implement action plans for large scale projects 
  • Champion and drive a culture that embraces innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration, being an ambassador of company vision and mission
  • Responsible for ensuring clear workflows, processes, SOPs, and policies across the HR function and with other departments such as Finance, Law, and IT
  • Ensure projects and programs are being managed appropriately to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery 
  • This is a hands-on role and the incumbent will be expected to balance the strategy, while overseeing the day to day of HR Transformation.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required OR equivalent combination of training, education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 11 years' progressive leadership experience in related HR functions, including HR operations and HRIS

 

 

MINIMUM KSA's:

  • Deep experience leading, building and developing teams
  • Demonstrated HRIS knowledge; previous experience with leading collaborative transformation of process and/or technology improvements
  • Master at managing change with prioritization and can effectively communicate and motivate teams through transformation
  • Expert level analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to analyze & visualize data, understand trends, develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
  • Advanced project management skills - ability to handle multiple projects at once and competing priorities. Organized, extremely detail-oriented and execution-focused
  • Strong understanding of and experience with the entire employee life-cycle management process and with a HR Services model, experience with a unionized employee base is preferred
  • Success with service delivery, evolving the employee experience, process optimization and utilizing new technology solutions
  • Strong client facing skills with a flexible communication style and the ability to communicate complex concepts and analytics in a structured manner
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high stakes and change-driven environment

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree and/or SHRM/PHR certification preferred
  • 13+ years of relative experience in HR functions, including HR operations and HRIS
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • PMP or CAPM certification

 

 

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: 
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
