TITLE: Lead Quality Assurance Engineer
LOCATION: Washington, D.C.
DUTIES: Create and update BDD-TestNG /POM automation framework with extensive Java/JS coding knowledge. Test Rest-Assured based framework with implementations from Selenium/Cucumber and Java/JS. Perform Mobile App automation on mobile server (Android/iOS/Appium) with extent/Kibana/HTML reporting. Test Multi-threaded/Multi-platforms with Cloud-based automation. Work on projects of all levels of complexity within any of the IT development environments. Monitor, evaluate, and make recommendations on Quality Assurance (QA) tasks within enterprise-wide processes such as Test Life Cycles. Coordinate with the DevOps and Release Management Teams. Assist in creating standard operating procedures and metrics based on best practices for the QA team. Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the QA process. Establish liaison relationship with business partners and IT departments to provide process solutions to meet user needs. Prepare, maintain, and review documentation on all QA phases. Provide consistent communication, mentoring and instruction to team members and less‐experienced individuals.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field followed by seven (7) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer or any occupation related to Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers. Must also have seven (7) years of experience with: (1) Creating and updating BDD-TestNG/POM automation framework utilizing Java/JS coding; (2) Testing Rest-Assured based framework with implementations from Selenium/Cucumber and Java/JS; (3) Performing Mobile App automation on mobile servers, including Android, iOS, and Appium, with extent/Kibana/HTML reporting; (4) Using Android based manager tools and Xcode with simulator/emulator apps; (5) Monitoring CI/CD pipeline with batch and scheduled job creation; (6) Multi-threaded/Multiplatform testing with Cloud based automation; and (7) Performing Automation for GUI/Mobile App/Webservices utilizing Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Appium, Jenkins, Java, JS, Gherkin, Rest API, AVD, Xcode, SauceLabs, and Kibana. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Remote work permitted in accordance with standard company policy. All positions require pre-employment background check verification and a pre-employment drug screen.
SALARY: $139,880 to $144,000 per year
