TITLE: Lead Technologist
LOCATION:Washington, D.C. (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.)


DUTIES: Leads the team responsible for the resolution of support issues escalated by senior operations, development personnel or service provider personnel. Works with vendors during the problem resolution process as needed. Provides technical expertise across business functions. Researches and analyzes technologies within area of required expertise. Evaluates and recommends new products or tools for the organization. Makes recommendations that may influence the long-term technology strategy and planning for multiple business units. Assists in the development and analysis of source selection strategies. Works with service providers to ensure that their in-scope technical solutions are consistent with the enterprise business strategy and architecture. Serves as a consultant and escalation point for issues. Provides project managers with technical consultation and advice, enabling quick response to inquiries related to the program/project. Designs innovative solutions using new technologies. Recommends short-term alternatives when appropriate. Works with vendors during the problem resolution process as needed. Provides technical expertise across business functions.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of professional post-baccalaureate experience as a Lead Technologist or any occupation related to Computer Systems Engineering/Architecture. Must also have five (5) years of experience: (1) Developing workflow rules, approval processes, and managing Salesforce workflows; (2) Designing reports, dashboards, and implementing Salesforce standard objects customization; (3) Developing and maintaining various internal and external facing Salesforce communities; (4) Developing email services to process the contents, headers, and attachments of inbound email to be used with Apex classes in Salesforce; (5) Developing and managing Apex classes and lightning web components for customizing lightning and web-based applications; (6) Creating and enhancing Visual Force pages to suit the end user’s requirement; and (7) Working on Data Loader to migrate and manage bulk legacy data into various Salesforce applications. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Remote work permitted in accordance with company policy. SALARY: $147,784 per year
