SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Perform storeroom activities such as tracking and maintaining inventory, shipping, receiving, disbursements and identification of parts and supplies. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday 4PM - 12AM.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain reports
  • Open in transit STO
  • 3way match
  • Daily wheel count
  • Invoice daily locomotive fuel
  • Lead day to day activities in the Washington Material Control team, trouble shoot inventory planner problems for end users, customers, and team members
  • Analyze stock levels and report to the MRP controllers to adjust as needed
  • Bam /rush material as our customers deem necessary
  • Cycle count and adjust the systems to match on hand quantities
  • Have proficient knowledge of SAP, EWM, excel, word and email or be able to train and qualify within 120 days of employment
  • Work within safety program guidelines
  • Work with customers pertaining to not stock items
  • Operate forklift/ pallet jack/ dock plates to unload trucks/ loading docks
  • Maintain a clean/ safe work environment
  • Wipe down counters
  • Sweep floor
  • Mop floor
  • Empty trash
  • Filing paperwork from Vendor (PO’s)/ Supplying Plants (STO’s)
  • Problem solving internally/ externally via email/ phone/ fax

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Any past relevant experience with inventory or warehouse operations
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a Driver License and qualify to use material handling equipment such as forklifts and other hoisting equipment

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years in retail or warehouse exp.
     

COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

 

 

The hourly range is $27.62 – $36.83 (with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement, after beginning employment).
